Dr Hong secretary called to reschedule my surgery. I was 8 days in on optifast. It was only next Friday. So disappointed. It's now the 14th instead. She said that he didn't want to do a complex surgery on Friday and especially since he was going away that weekend.

No I can stop the opti until Aug 7th since I only have a week left I only have to do a week before surgery.

Oh probably lol. I'm planning on staying on 2 protein shakes for breaky and lunch and a dinner with no carbs.

That truely is a bummer, but it's safer this way. I'd rather know that my Doc is not going away the day after surgery.

Boo, that's too bad.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

Thanks everyone I appreciate your words through my tears of disappointment. Argh I know it's probably better but it's been 2 years of appointments I thought the finish line to my new life was finally here. Now I'm just terrified it will happen next month tor.
