We are continuing our water saga. Our water was turned off last night so no shower this morning. I hate that. It is my way of waking up. A wash will have to do. I stuck my head out the door to get my hair wet. My husband thinks I'm nuts.

Work will be different today. I am part of the bargaining unit for our union. Our president is off on bereavement leave so I will be filling in. The university provides lunch usually so I have put deli meat and I will bring an apple. May have to adjust later

Morning! Another day, another day of planning my usual meals!

B - all bran/smart bran with 1/2 scoop protein powder and lactose free 1% milk

S - Premier Protein shake - some coffee

L - 1/2 Great Low Carb Bagel, 1tbs peanut butter & NSA jam; greek yogurt with some chopped kiwi

S - Turkey pepperette, 1 cheese square

D - probably a piece of pork cutlet 2-3oz. I can't usually eat more then 2.5oz of any meat; some veggies

S - cherries! so yummy

My goals are: 1200 cal, 80+ protein.

My last visit to the dietitian they asked me to eat more fat (OMG!)... lol... ok ok they mean the GOOD fats! So I eat nuts, 1% milk and 1-2% yogurt and light cheese.. it's not that hard to incorporate more good fat! I guess our bodies need some fat to operate too.

Among other things, your BRAIN needs fat to function!

Hey guys, not sure what I'm going to eat tody but for breakfast I had the best thing ever... I made flourless panckes (1 banana 1egg) I fryed it up (no oil or butter needed) and ate it with a little bit (1/2 tsp) of peanut butter. So good :) it made 3 small pancakes (small then a cd) I ate about 1 and 1/2

Just an egg and banana? Damn, that sounds like something I could enjoy myself, especially with peanut butter!

It was so easy to make... It's low in calories fats an carbs. I find that glutin free recipes are great and it's easy to add protein :)

I found a recipe that adds 1/8 tsp of both baking powder and cinnamon with many delicious looking photos - going to try this tomorrow morning!

Tiffany, I just now tried these - delicious!! I added 1/8 tsp baking powder and 1/8 tsp cinnamon to the egg and banana, next time I will eat them plain - sweet and yummy, no need for toppings. Thanks for the idea!

K.
