So....I'm 10 weeks out as of today. Doing great other than my energy levels which are bouncing back very slowly.  I'm in my second stall, first one at 4 weeks and a second stall at 9 weeks....so.... I want to make sure I'm on track.  I log all food in MFP and I'm averaging about 700 calories per day.

How many calories per day should I be eating at this stage???

Thanks...Jane

I'd love to know too. I get between 675 and 800 - which I think is average.

I asked the dietician at the one month session (twice) and she wouldn't answer me.

it's not a matter of calories. She likely gave you guidelines for grams of protein, carbs, etc. As long as you stay within those guidelines, you wont have to worry about calories.

Hard to remember for me, so I just looked back at my old MyFitnessPal records for when I was around 10-12 weeks. And yeah, that's about what I was eating too. Anywhere between 600-800 calories.

But Monica is right - it's the protein you have to worry about. Protein first, make sure you get at least 60-80g of protein a day, stop eating when full, water, vitamins, etc.  The rest will fall into place if you're following the guidelines around protein and portions.

I wouldn't worry about calories either. A general range at that point is 600-800. Focus on getting all your protein in, your water and vitamins, make good choices with the rest of your food and it will sort itself out. It's awesome that you're tracking on MFP too.

A belated thank-you!!!   I was really wondering on the impact of calories on a stall.

You might want to get your blood tested... especially to see what your iron and B12 levels are like. If those are low that will probably account for the fatigue.
