Hey Guys!

I really just wanted to share this amazing recipe with you all that I found! A few months back I bought a cookbook specifically with recipes for people after WLS. Now that I am on the minced phase I am finally able to use it. And I made a recipe out of the book yesterday and o.m.g. it was soo good! So I thought I would share :)

Home-Style Tuna Salad

2 cans white tuna, drained and flaked

1/2 cup light mayonnaise

1/4 cup sweet pickle relish

1/4 tsp dried onion flakes

1 tsp mustard

1 tbsp dried parsley

1 1/2 tsp dried dill week

1 1/2 tsp garlic powder

In a medium bowl mix all ingredients together. Refrigerate at least 30 minutes before consuming.

Makes about 6  (1/2 cup) servings

Amazing how something so simple as tuna can be completely awesome once you get to the stage that you can actually eat, eh? lol

If you haven't already joined, we have a recipe forum (Ontario Recipes) - you might like to share your recipe there under the purree or fish/seafood thread as well! The link to the group is in my signature below.

This may sound like a silly question lol.  But does it taste fishy?  I don't like fish but I can eat tuna if it's not fishy, although I haven't tried it since I'm now post op so who knows how it may pan out lol.

I'm in the market for a post WLS cookbook.  What's the name and author on yours.

Honestly, I would not spend money on this. Google "weight loss surgery recipes" and you'll get it all, and a gagillion more, for free.
