Oh my, please just follow the rules.   There is always an option and you're strong.   Go for the apt.

Suck it up, do as you're told, nothing goes the way we plan but we have to roll with it.

If you're that upset maybe some counseling is a good thought.  This seems to be all consuming for you.

Please talk with a friend or someone close with you about this.

Laurie

I am following the rules.  My last call was to let them know I only need 3 weeks rather than 4 so that they would have all the information.  There is nothing wrong with that.  I have done everything they have asked every single time.  It is so frustrating that people do not understand and instead blame me, when I am the victim here.  I agree it is on my mind a lot, but it would be for anyone if they had been through what I have the past month. I have spoken with several people about this and they do not know what to say, just tell me to hang in there.  And that is really all I can do.  And hope for the best.

Okay. Time to step back and take a breath Zizzler. (Don't even know your name lol)

I've been following what's been going on with you, commented at first and then simply didn't know what else to say. Please - it appears to ME that you've worked yourself up into such a state over this date that it's guiding your every thought and action. I wanted to post the last time about whether or not you should call and I didn't. My answer would have been a huge, resounding NO. They "accused" you of being bothersome and over-anxious with your calls to inquire about a date. You called anyway. Now it's led to this.

My advice: DO NOT CALL ANYMORE about your surgery date. Whether you realize it or not, you're justifying their concerns. Please, go to the appointment with the psychologist and SHOW THEM that you're ready and stable. I truly sense that you are just that.

Please don't take this as harsh - that's the last thing in the world I want to be with you. Just please... take a breath and a step back. PM me if you want to talk - I'm here for you.

Not my intention at all. Nor anyone else's I'm sure. The counselor came out in me and I felt you needed to hear the truth.

So now you are wasting the time of the patient advocacy rep on you being unable to follow directions?

Having surgery is a privilege, not a right. You do not have to have this surgery.
