HI All.

For those who have decided to join the challenge of Very Active Minutes, please post your numbers here.

Anyone who tallies up their Very Active Minutes via FitBit, or other device...or who does any activity where you are walking at a brisk pace, doing a class, cycling can join. It takes a bit of work to get to your Very Active Minutes...but the point of the challenge is to get yourself moving more efficiently. I haven't done any planned exercise today. I drove to work, walked from the parking lot to the grocery store and then to work, and I have 7 Very Active Minutes, just by walking fast.

If you have a disagreement with your device, I say you can add a few minutes, if you feel the need. If you are doing a class, please only count the minutes you were active. Warm up and Cool down do not count. My spin class is 45 minutes, but my FItBit counts 38 minutes of Very Active Minutes.

Hope that all makes sense! I will be making teams after everyone has their numbers in. Count your numbers from Monday to Sunday (June 23 to June 29)

This week I got in 635 Very Active Minutes last week. This week i'm tapering for my race, but the race is Sunday....so should be average numbers for me!

Good luck everyone!
