It sounds like maybe you need to find another surgeon!  This is a HUGE deal and you need to be comfortable with your surgeon, their office staff and anyone else you come into contact with in the process of preparing for surgery.  Calling every 2-3 weeks is NOT a lot!

The surgeon and everyone else has been good, its just getting an actual surgery date that has been a nightmare.  Once I have my date I will not have to deal with her anymore so that will be good.

Sounds to me like someone needs to inform Miss Lana that's she a scheduler, and not a shrink, unless of course she's just slacking and not working up to her degree.

Sorry that you've gone through all of this.  It seems like the most torturous part is waiting for the phone to ring with the date!

Not sure why she did that to me but I do not trust her nor the scheduling process at all now.  Too bad because everyone else has been professional.
