What are you eating/doing today? (Tuesday)
I called Chike in Texas and ordered it - need to place another big order now that I've tried the coffee, it's fabulous. They sent a sample of their new Mocha coffee too, also really good. They can ship up to 4 pounds of it to me for $14.99 (shipping cost) - to ME it's worth every penny to have a protein shake (and it's COFFEE!) that I love. Also got samples of their other flavours, haven't tried any yet, going to try the "Banana Magic" tomorrow. lol
I had 12 weeks of iron infusions a couple of years ago, worked great and thought I'd be done with it once I had the hysterectomy but even though I'm supplementing (Feremax) it's not enough, my ferritin is down to 7. Looking forward to getting the iron back up where it belongs and my ENERGY back up where it belongs, now that I'm feeling really well otherwise.
Very glad to hear the girly issues are under control, they can really control your life. Didn't know you were going for a PS fix - good luck, I'm sure it'll be great :)

Hello everyone
I haven't posted as my iPad is at the cottage and my morning routine has gone to hell in a hand basket. I need the routine, I need to log and be accountable.
B - cucumber slices, almonds
S - cottage cheese with sriracha sauce
L - TVP chili
S - hummus, melba
D - breakfast for dinner - fried egg, back bacon
Cal 808 Carbs 67 Fat 32 Protein 61
Good to see you Jo! I know exactly what you're saying about routine - SO important for me in most aspects of my life (I suppose I'm a wee bit controlling LOL) but especially in maintaining my weight. There are so many things we don't have any control over in life, having complete control over my menu and eating allows me to be mindful and comfortable. Making a plan each day helps to achieve that. :)

Really feeling the stress of the end of the school year. Trying to review and prep them for exams is making me crazy!
Ran for 36 mintues last night. Woot! Today I'm off to bootcamp:)
B: greek yogurt, pumpkin flax cereal, blueberries, chia, matcha
S: 20 almonds
L: 2 boiled eggs, 1 slice WW bread, 1stp of butter, 1/4 cup cherry tomatoes
S: 2 baby bel and an apple
Post bootcamp snack: banana, slice of WW bread, 2 tbsp of PB
D: 1 turkey burger patty, 1/2 cup asian salad (pretty crappy salad actually, I miss my Kale salad.lol), 1 square 90% cocoa
S: I will have half a quest cookie dough protein bar. Man oh man am I craving chocolate like nobody's business lately! I would be totally content living off chocoalte protein bars. Yesterday I came home early and seriously analyzed my menu to see if I could squeeze in an extra 60 calories so I could have a protein bar instead of my baby bel. lol
Totals
Cals: 1376
Carbs: 123
Protein: 99
Hence the reason (well, one of the reasons) I don't do protein bars - sweet yummy goodness leads to me wanting MORE sweet yummy goodness - too much of a sweet yummy slippery slope for me. lol

Good luck with the Optifast - you can do it. It appears you're on a modified plan?

What do you mean by Modified? I do have to adjust at times depending on my blood sugar levedls due to very extreme diabetes from birth. I am doing this under close supervision from the hospital and my husband of course hahah. I will be speakin with a diabetes specialis each and evedry day wioth my previous day levels to fiure ou what adjustments need to be made for Insulin injections. Hope that kinda helps to answer your question and thanks for asking .
