All I can say is TGIF!!!!
Been a long week. I don't have any plans for the weekend, just going relax. Take the pooch to the park and do the usual weekend chores.
Barb, hope your appointment went well.
Karen, hope you appointments went well also.
What is everyone doing for the weekend?
B- 1/4 cup ff cottage cheese, 1/4 cup yogurt, protein coffee
S- 1/3 cup greek yogurt
L- Cloverleaf snack size spicy peanut tuna w/ lettuce in a flatout wrap
D- 2.5 oz chicken w/ 1/4 cup sweet kale salad/dressing
S- tomato, cuccumber w/ 2 tbs hummus

Up at 3 getting ready to leave for Toronto......expect the traffic to be a nightmare with the Gardiner to two lanes....ughh
My last appointment was fine yesterday.....no more as OHIP covers 5 years....I think I am one of the only ones who never missed an appointment....but to me my health was too important to let it go.....saw an endo also to look into my calcium/kidney/bone issues.....not sure if I actually have issues....just being safe as I only have 1 kidney
My labs are really good .....other then the calcium we are checking - and a bit of low iron.....I have never taken B12......and my levels are great.....must be the meat I eat or something as I see others always taking them......I also still crush my vitamin ( materna) still to this day.....and wonder if that has helped me absorb more of the nutrients....
EATS.....drinking my morning protein shake as I write....bringing 3 protein bars with me as I have no idea what will be for Breakfast - lunch and snacks that are provided....might stick an apple in my purse too......
I managed to delete my original ticker....damn.....will try to get that resolved next week......down another 1/2 pound so staying the course is working

S- Extra lean minced turkey with diced tomatoes
Snack-Greek yogurt and SF Jello
Cal-637, Carbs-39, Fat-29, Protein-76, Sugar-16, Chol-131
Cottage cheese and ketchup? Oh my. I've never heard of that combination before. Can't imagine. lol

Oh, I use ketchup with eggs and stuff too - have NEVER heard of it with cottage cheese. Just the thought made me gag a little LOL

Good morning all. Ok. Birthday celebrations are over and it's back to proper eats for me.
Not so new discovery....wine makes me hungry for carbs. ...cheese and crackers to be exact. No more wine for me for now. My big race is one month away and I'm taking it seriously.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!
