I am finally home..and sitting (albeit a little tenderly) on the infamous bench!

Hey, just a quick note to let everyone know I am now home and doing okay.  Thank you everyone for your pm's.

I had my surgery last Tuesday and had to stay in a  little  longer than expected.  Hit some  glitches and hiccups along the way.. . In the midst of all that a nurse gave me medication I wasn't cleared for, and then the one I was supposed to have...causing me to get very ill...and then to top it off, looks like I passed a kidney stone as well.  Now I am just dealing with an infection in my belly button incision...  but I am still smiling.  I am finally on the infamous bench!

I have to say, my experience at Guelph is a little mixed..but overall, most of the nurses were amazing.

I cannot say enough about my surgeon, Dr. Bhojani.  He is an incredible doctor-- compassionate, caring, thorough and patient.  He was an advocate for me to have this surgery, and remained positive and calm with every hiccup we hit along the way.

Thanks again everyone, will post more when up to it. Vicky

Glad you are home and doing well now!  Hopefully the glitches and hiccups were minor and all that you will need to go through to continue on your WL journey!
