I found a food I love and that I can easily eat. Shrimp with a bit of olive oil, dill weed spice and lemon and a small amount of Kamut noodles......yummy!!! I think I am starting to tolerate more foods now.
How is everyone else doing who had surgery lately?
Regards,
Kelly
Hi Ladies,
I am still waiting for surgery....some days I worry if I will ever be able to eat things I enjoy again....It is wonderful to read these comments and to know that in time we can enjoy some of the healthy and awesome foods we love. I definitely enjoy shrimp and hope that I too can tolerate it when I am able to eat solid food again.
Thanks for Sharing it is helpful

I'm on purée now and have had Tim's chilli and tuna mixed with spicy tzaiki sauce as well as channa masala which I mashed up. So far so good. The only thing I had that I had a little issues with was haddock that I made at home but I think my first couple of bites were either two big or not chewed up enough coz I felt uncomfortable and nauseous the rest of the day. So lesson learned chew, chew, chew and small bites.
congrats that can always bee your go to food when you are dining out, shrimp and ribs are my TOP 2...I usually end up packing home lots of the ribs..but somehow being able to eat a couple of things like that has left my love of battered deep fried foods in the dust~!
prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
life is AMAZING when you continue on the right path~!. Use your surgeons gift to the fullest~!
