Jaxie77-

Alcohol no prob here either. My dad is an alcoholic-I have an exceptionally high respect for it so I'm very careful. That being said-I have had a drink-and no shame here either. I had about half of a ****tail and could feel it quickly-so I stopped. Period. I'm not going to be shamed into never ever having a drink again. This is my battle-I have to learn my limits. And you are right-we are all learning.

All legit points, yes we all need to learn and use our tools the best way it suits ourselves.  This is a tough journey and we need to be kind to ourselves.

Good luck everyone

First drink, 5.5 months out, wine, went fine (was on a girl's weekend, but behaved myself pretty well).

BUT, i had only ever dumped once or twice in the history of my WLS. That probably affects how alcohol affects people.
