So I have long hair and have lost a lot of it but none the less it is still long what's left of it..... My question is when it begins to grow will it look goofy sticking up and out of the long hair that's lays in loose curls on my head?  And will it grow in supper slow or fast as I'm not sure I want the layered look my mind is envisioning....

I have long hair and my hair dresser noticed my re growth first, when it was about half an inch or so. You could really see it when my hair was wet. Since then I notice the spikeys but no one else does. My hair just looked a bit frizzy on top. It's starting to blend in a bit better now, just some places I look like I have breakage, like in my bangs so I just pin them back. My hair is growing like a weed though, normally I can go six weeks between highlights and I've hardly gotten four in and my roots are super noticeable. My hair seems to have changed quite a bit now - won't hold a curl well and coming in a bit lighter. I think it all depends on hormones, what your body is doing. Hard to predict how it will be for any one person. But if the re growth bugs you, just put your hair up for a few weeks until it blends in a bit better :D
