Surgery is tomorrow!!! Yikes!

You are truly in the best hands...probably getting prepped and ready now as I type. I so remember that day, a year ago. Had a little cry in the hallway just before...worry, doubt, excitement. My one piece of advice, don't be afraid to be your own advocate. Most nurses on that floor are wonderful and very experienced. Some, not so much (perhaps I simply encountered a couple who were having an exhausted or sick day). You life changes today; embrace it with everything you have...YOU come first

All the best, you 're in good hands. I had my surgery on the 17 of this month, please give a shout out to the staff.. Sue and Alex were the nurses I was lucky enough to have assigned to me while I was there. These two girls are indeed the best you could possibly have. Although the entire staff will be there for you. All you have to do is heal. Best of luck
