RNY  5 Years Post Op

Morning

Wasn't feeling great yesterday....ended up sleeping from 2:30 in the afternoon straight thru until 5;15 this morning.....great way to keep the calories down!

STEPS - yeah not too many

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

    Premier protein shake

 

S - 2 thin slices of ham

 

L - 2 poached eggs on one slice of WW bread

 

S - Source lemon yogurt

 

D - Boneless stuffed turkey breast- 3 oz

     3-4 spears of asparagus

     2 TB of gravy

 

S - Source raspberry yogurt

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 866,  Carbs - 58 Grams,  Fat - 25 Grams,  Protein - 104 Grams

 

All water and vits

Good Morning,

 

B- 1 poached egg, 1 slice turkey back bacon, 1/2 PC Thin Bagel

S- protein coffee

L TVP Chili, 1oz cheese

D- 1/2 cup garden salad w/ 2oz chicken breast, w/ LF ceasar dressing

S- 1/3 cup greek yogurt w/ 3 strawberries.

I am Pre-op

Such a nice day today - I have to run some errands this morning but plan to relax this afternoon, take the dogs for a nice long walk in the sunshine.  yay spring! 

B - Greek yogurt smoothie with mixed frozen fruit and blueberry sf davinci flavouring

L - Grilled cheese on weigh****cher bread, celery

D - swiss chalet - Rotisserie chicken with salad or mixed veg, chalet sauce

Snack - ham and swiss rollups with mustard

Drinks - smoothie, grape Dasani, water with lemon

Stringy roast beef sent me into one hell of a sick state last night. Wedding was nice but boy the food was not. Ended up leaving very early – had to pull over the car gagging and dry heaving. Pulled into a Timmy’s and used the facilities. I don’t think I can throw up any more – I just heave…but my body knows how to deal…wowzah…Open house today, then going for a listing meeting. I’d rather be home.

Steps 7894

B-fried egg, back bacon

S- nuts

Lunch –light swiss and ham

S- Kirkland greek yogurt 0% allmax protein powder

Dinner – chicken breast stuffed with feta, spinach and asparagus (they had them on at Costco).

Hi I am 6 days post op so im on full fluids.

B 1/4 cup cream of wheat with 1/3cp of 1%milk and 1 tbsp powdered milk mixed into it. 1/2cp cpoffee with 1/3cp of 1% milk

L 1/2 cp of potato soup and I mixed 1 tbsp powdered milk in it.  2 tbsp greek yogurt mixed with 1 tbsp strawberry jello

S 1/4 cp cottage cheese 1 tbsp powdered milk 1/4 cp greek yogurt 1/3 cp boost

Snacks x 3  1/3 cp of boost.

So all in all pretty bland but im good with it all.  Still no hunger :-)   Val

Better late than never! Hope you're feeling better Barb - I had a day like that today for some reason.

8 years post-op

B - coffee with cream x 3, 1/2 cup Greek yogurt, strawberries, sprinkle of granola

S - 1 slice leftover pizza (we ordered pizza last night so my menu for yesterday is a little "off" shall we say lol)

L - 1 cup split pea soup. 2 crackers, 1 oz swiss cheese, cucumber slices

D - just thinking of it now after my nap - 2 egg omelet with peppers, mushrooms, red onions & cheddar, tomato slices, 1/2 Flatout Foldit 5 grains and flax

S - chai tea fog, green grapes, handful of almonds
