Hi I am 10 weeks post and every so often I get a real sore stomach, it aches from my belly button and lower.  Can it be gas?  Anyone ever have the same symptoms?

Thanks.

I didn't have it when I woke up - I had oatmeal and about 1/2 hour later had yogurt for breakfast.  About an hour later it started, so I have had it now for a couple of hours.  I have had it happen before - sometimes I have eaten and sometimes not.    :(

Do you notice a pattern as to when this happens (i.e. after eating, moving certian ways )?  And when it goes away (i.e. after releasing gas or having a BM, after stretching)?

When I get gas pains, mine strike more to one side than right in the middle, but that could be just me.  After I can releave some pressure, it is usually fine.

If this is happening after specific movements, it could be a hernia that you are pulling every once in a while.

You can always contact your centre and see what they suggest it might be.

Edited to add:  Does it always happen after you eat?  Does it always happen after you have dairy products?  You could be dairy sensitive.
