That's a great looking menu, Barb. I hear you about the steps. I don't think I broke 5000 yesterday, and this during a week where I've been consistently getting over 10000 steps! Oh well. I'll try to do better today. Hard when I'm visiting family because we don't do much walking. Most of our visiting is pretty sedentary.

Today: Easter dinner at my dad's place (turkey) which is always a great wls-friendly meal for me. We have to do a number of errands today too, but they're all by car, so I'm hoping to get a bit of a walk in at some time today. Another Easter dinner at my aunt's place tomorrow, but I'm not sure what she's serving. Maybe ham? If so, that's a good one for me too.

Not sure what I'm having for food for the rest of the day. It's always up in the air when I'm visiting family because we are often eating while out, and I'm never sure what's available or being served. But I'm tracking as I go.

I'm also kind of amazed that I'm still losing a bit of weight. My father's scale had me at 175 this morning and it is usually on par with my scale at home. I know I was down to 176 yesterday. But I can't be sure about the 175, so I will wait until I get home to be sure. But it's interesting how, once I decided that I was okay hovering around the 180 mark for maintenance that now I'm losing a bit again. And being 176 means I've lost 160 lbs in total.

Hope everyone has a nice day today. Enjoy your long weekend, whether you celebrate Easter or not. :)

Good morning :-D

I hope everyone is having a nice long weekend!! I am enjoying lots of time in bed with my cats holding me down so I don't do anything (LOL!). I had my surgery on Thursday! It went well. Dr Nanda found a bunch of stitches that were supposed to dissolve but they didn't (my hubby thinks they were causing my pain and also not being able to stand straight. I think he is right about that). He took care of them and cleaned me up and got rid of my "hole" (wound). I haven't been able to see it yet and can't take the dressing off unless it gets soaked or until I go see him on Thursday.

I already feel MUCH better. I'm not taking as many meds, I can stand up straight. My ccac nurse thinks that this is finally the end of the road and she will be able to discharge me from her care next week. YAY!!! :-D

Not doing alot today. Rest, rest, resting!!

B- bacon and omelet

L- probably some hot dog from costco

D- burger and baked potato, having a friend over for dinner

Snacks- not sure yet

Getting in vitamins and fluids

Have a great day!!! :-D

BELOW GOAL        Happily maintaining 4.5 years out!!   Life is GREAT!!!  Had my plastic surgery!
