You should be fine. I weighed close to 300 in January when I had my MRI of my digestive tract, so I went all the way in. Not fun, but I got in there! They were also kind enough to make sure I was going to fit inside before drinking the barium and waiting so long.

I was about 290 and didn't fit at East General.....funny enough...this is one of my goals because I have herniated discs etc and have often wondered if I would now fit in an MRI now at 220. Please let me know how it goes =)

At around 290, I fit in an MRI (gallbladder) but wow, it was a tight fit for sure! My shoulders were squeezed/rolled forward and it wasn't the most comfortable position, that's for sure. I was in there for a good 20-30 minutes and I was so thrilled to get out of there.

I'm 233 this morning; I still wonder if I would fit comfortably. These are the kinds of fears that plague the fat chick's brain... will I fit through the turnstile? Will I fit in the airplane seat? Will I infringe on the space of the person next to me? Will I break the folding chair? All of these things and more. It's a psychological process too. And wrapping my head around that part is tough.

I am sure though you'll do fine! Please let us know. It is a wonderful thing to gauge our successes by the NSVs that we have, isn't it? Fitting into the MRI is a huge NSV! Report back and tell us about this one, would you? Wishing you all the best as you have your MRI and may it go super smoothly for you!
