Well here i am on day 17 of my Optifast liquid diet.  I just want to say that up until today I have been having the opti shakes as cold as I can make them.  This morning I decided to try my breakfast one hot.  Wow it was the chocolate one and it was amzingly good.   Mmmmm just like hot chocolate.   Woe better late than never!    :-)  Val

If I'm not mistaken, During one of our meetings in Kingston, I do believe they advised us Not to heat up opti as it broke down some of the nutrients.

It might be an idea to give them a phone call and check.   All the best on the 22 of April

Going to see the surgeon on Apr 24. Do you know how long I'll have to be on the liquid diet before surgery? I've been waiting 19 months. Hope it happens soon.

Hi Gailanne im not sure.  My surgeon has me on it for 4 weeks at 4 shakes a day.  I think it all depends on the Dr and I would asume your weight maybe.  Each Dr. Is different as you will notice throughout these feeds. The type of surgery might have something to do with it as well.  When is your surgery and what type are you having?  :-)  Val

Where do you live?  I live in Elliot  Lake  On.  I had to have a TTeleconference to meet my Surgeon.  He told me that his secretary would call me in a few days well she called the very next day with my durgery date.  That was February 25 and my date was for April 22nd.   But my daughter did not here for about 6-8 weeks after her meeting with the same Surgeon.  I hope you here soon.  :-)  You are on your way!!
