Funny, this past weekend I decided to double my steps, so I have challenged myself to do 20,000 steps a day. Actually got 30,000+ today on a number of walks to different destinations.

i too am heading on a cruise next Friday, mine will be for 36 days so I really got terrified of gaining weight on the cruise and that is what pushed me to up my steps.

stress, changes in my life, a fractured foot and eating incorrectly had me gain weight over the winter, I needed to push myself past the 10,000 steps I had gotten myself up to.

so, I'll join the challenge and I'll post when I can from wherever I am. I'll put it on my calendar as something to add to when I am able to be online

We went last year and loved it. Amazed at how many people were on the ship but it didn't feel like it. Lady year we did Western Carrinesn, this year eastern :) Hopefully we will test out the new ship Quantum of the Seas next year.

I also do the 20,000 steps a day challenge  I have actually reset my fitbit to alert me goal reached at 15,000 and over achiever status at 20,000  of course I love it when it tells me I am an over achiever and like you I have to do it on a number of different walks in a day.
