Dr. Anvari performed my RNY Oct 9, 2013. He was a man of few words when I met with him to sign the consent but that is okay with me. It's what he can do with his hands thats important. No complications from surgery and his team in the hospital were all great. This was by far the easiest surgery to recover from. My gall bladder surgery in 2008 was more painful. Best of luck to you and congrats on the start of you journey to your new life!

I understand they aren't there to "hold" your hand and I appreciate all the comments people have given. But it's always nice to know what people have dealt with. Thank you so much, I am very excited yet nervous. I'm really looking forward to being healthier!
