multi vitimins

I don't see why not. A good quality vitamin dissolves in water, so the production of acid (or lack thereof) from RNY isn't an issue, IMO. I can see how using a chewable would be better than a crappy pill that doesn't dissolve, but chewables are pricier, aren't they?
Referred to Guelph, Dec. 3/12. Orientation: Mar 7/13. NUT/SW/RN Jun 18/13. Nutrition Class Jul 3/13. NUT/SW/RN Aug 19/13. Post-op Nutrition Class Dec 30/13. Approval for surgery from Dr. Jules Foute Nelong Feb 10/14. Surgery Apr 23/14.
Slightly off topic but perhaps a cost savings to others. Since vitamines will be a constant in our lives and can become costly to some, I found a prenatal multi vitamine/mineral that met all the requirements and was covered through my insurance (Sunlife in Ontario). It is called Pregvit and as far as I know it is the only one which is covered. Both the RN and RD from Guelph said I could use it pre/post op. The SW also said she was going to pass the info along to other WLS patients for it's cost saving value. Also, the come in a format where you take one in the AM and one in the PM.
Hey they don't call me Cheap Charlie for nothing, ha ha ha! See link below. Just to be on the safe side ask your own set of professionals.
Cheers :)
