Surgeon - Date

Hi :)

Just wondering how how long after your appt with the surgeon until you got your surgery date?

I met with my surgeon on March 21, and my surgery date is July 16 2014, so almost 4months

I met my surgeon Jan 2nd had surgery Feb 4th

Hi, which clinic you from? Seems to be a difference dependent upon which city you are having surgery in. I met the surgeon on Dec 3rd and just had surgery on the 20th of March. I was through Ottawa. I know a lady right now who saw the surgeon in Ottawa on Jan 7th and still has not received a surgery date. Not sure how the process works. She was told that in Ottawa it could take anywhere from 3-5 months after meeting the surgeon to get an actual date. At Ottawa WMC they call you with a date.

52 days after I met the surgeon. That was only after I called them at least 3 times. They don't like you calling, but hey it is your health you are advocating for!

Had my finale apt with Surgeon Dec 15th, I believe it was, and got my date 2 days later but surgery is April 14th. it was supposed to be the 9th but it was changed. All the centres seem different but I have spoke to a lot of people who are doing I in Ottawa and they say it's the longest waiting time, but I don't know.
