RNY  4 Years 11 Months Post Op

Morning

Nice to be home.....much warmer then the last time I was here....and the snow is certainly going.......lots of work and meetings today.....cooking dinner for my friends tonight and they have requested pasta....not my favorite thing to eat....but I will pick out the veg and chicken and have a few bites of the pasta

 

STEPS - left my fitbit south......I would think I was in the 8000 range

 

EATS

B - 2 large mugs of regular coffee

    Premier protein shake

 

L - grilled chicken Caesar salad

 

D - Pesto chicken and pasta with added veggies

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories - 1,104,  Carbs - 85 grams,  Fat - 21 grams,  Protein - 111 grams

 

All water....vits

Morning Barb and everyone...Its been an up and down start to the knew year..My daughter in law ( 6 months pregnant ).Rolled her car Thursday night on way to work..She and baby are ok thank god...She hit blac**** . Thank our lucky stars..

B- tea boiled egg..

S- Veggies and LF dip.

L- 2 turkey wraps with LF cheese and pickle slice.

S- protein bar..

D- chicken and roasted asparagus .

S- roasted chickpeas..

Barb, I am glad you can find something positive in this weather. I would just like it to stay above zero for a while.

3.5yrs post-op, RNY, maintaining

I am having a day of cooking and baking, once I get my butt in gear, LOL! It's mostly a relaxing day

Morning all (4 minutes left of it)

Training for my half iron started, and yesterday I had a sugar low, due to not enough food and lots of exercise. I'm upping my calories and carbs on high impact days. 

3 years post-rny

1 hour 15 minute run/45 minute swim (this is my first swim with my boyfriend/coach...he was a swim coach and water polo coach for 20 years. We are hoping that we won't kill each other during this process lol)

B: goat yogurt mix

S: queen street grape skin flour bread with peanut butter

l: cobb salad

D; wrap with turkey and havarti and veggies

S: kale chips

TOTALS Calories: 1,405 Carbs: 62 (ok, that's still too low...i'll have to re-think this) Fat: 90 Protein: 102 Fibre: 20 Sugar: 19

 

 

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

B - 2 slices of Ryvita, 1 tbsp peanut butter

 

S - 1 slice Swiss cheese, 1 Chia Chew

 

L - 75g zucchini, 1/4 cup meat sauce, 1 tbsp Parmesan cheese

 

S - 1 slice Swiss cheese, 1 Chia Chew

 

D - Tilapia, 1 tbsp seafood sauce, 1/2 cup Cookin' Greens

 

S - 1 slice Swiss cheese, 1 Chia Chew

 

Calories 748, Protein 68g, Carbs 45g, Fiber 10g, Sugar 11g, Fat 35g
