You weren't by any chance at Klein/Hagen/Sohi etc office today were you? I had my 1 month check up today, my appt was at noon. At 12:40 I asked how much longer the wait would be(as I hadn't seen my surgeon at all and I had been there since 11:45) to find out that he wasn't even there yet. Would have been nice if they had of told us that, so rude. He finally showed up almost an hour later at 1:40.  And I felt so rushed with him. Not cool at all!!

yup. came for 2 pm, saw doctor at 4.25, left at 4.30

I'm so sorry you didn't get a date. That sucks. 

Were you with Klein as well? Did they atleast warn you he was 2.5 hours behind? I was so frustrated as my original appt was booked for 9am and they rescheduled two and a half weeks ago for noon. Reassuring me that I would be the first appt of the afternoon as I would have been at 9 am. I was third. 

Its been a rough day lol. Got lost in Toronto, late appt. my sons truck broke down on the way home. My fridge is dead lol. Yep been a great day. 

Try not to get discouraged. I know the wait can be frustrating - I had a similar situation with Dr. Klein. I saw him in October to book my date, only to find out that, like you did, that there were no dates available and that my surgery would probably not happen until at least June (8 months!!!) I was crushed - you jump through all the hoops only to hit a wall. 

However, a few weeks later I got a call that he had a cancellation for January 15th!!!! Don't give up, miracles do happen... I've heard of it happening to others too!  In the meantime, keep working on changing habits etc. It will be time well spent and make your journey post op easier!

A little off topic, but I went to Klein's office as he is my surgeon, surgery the 14th of Apr, I was there on the 18th to pick up my Opti then over to Humber for pre op and 2 hours into my pre op I get a phone call saying that my surgery date went from the 9th of Apr to the 14th..like you couldn't have told me this while I was there picking up...LOL at least it's only 5 extra days of waiting.

I went to see him for my last appt in Dec and was told surgery likely wouldn't be until Mary, June or even July, that they were out of OR time and had to go back to the table...LOL 2 days later got a phone call saying the surgery would be the 9th of April, now like I said it's the 14th...so keep faith it does happen and time flies by........Good luck....
