Incision sites - tattoo

Just wondering about incision sites. I have a tattoo above my belly button (which is stretched and distorted) and from what I can tell is near where one of the sites may be. Can/will they go through a tattoo? Could this be an issue? Nobody has looked at my belly yet to even know I have one and it just came to me now that it could be an issue.

Anyone know if tattoos can cause problems? Thanks.

I don't have an incision near my belly button. They will probably work around it. Just let the doc know.

I have 3 stab wounds in my lower and. One on the area of my belly button and another on either side. Just let your surgeon know

The only incision I have near my belly button is about 3 inches directly above the belly button. I would hope they would work around the tattoo

I had 5 incision points and the closest one to my belly button was at least 2 inches above

prior to surgery 323lbs....4 years post-op maintaining between 108- 114 lb loss.
