Calcium Chews
When I had my surgery, I was told we could use the chews for the first 4-6 weeks, just so that we were getting something in, but, that we cannot use them long term because they are not the correct calcium.
After the 4-6 weeks, you are supposed to start using a calcium citrate product.

They recommend them for the phase when you are on crushed or chewable because some calcium is better then no calcium. you will still absorb it just not as much or as easily. I take the calcium citrate petite. I have been taking them since about 4 weeks post op because the chewables just had way to much sugar and would upset my pouch
