I will admit that sometimes technology gets to me. So I could only find two ways of adding people as friends. One was by e-mail and the other by facebook. If anyone else has some insight I would appreciate hearing from you. Or add me at user 26HCGX or Patm

The way I add people on myfitnesspal is to click on the Community tab, then Find Members, add their username and voila!
