so discouraged :( 9 days post op
Yes this is normal. Breathe.. don't freak out.
It will come off.. my stall was a few weeks. You just had major surgery, your body is adjusting.
Just work the plan, do what you are supposed to do and it will happen.

You are ONLY 9days post-op... No need to be discouraged at all. Wait til you hit the "3week", "6week", "3month" and so on stalls. Some stalls last a week, other stalls can last a few weeks or so. Your body just went thru a major surgery and has to adjust.
I figured even if I lost .5 of a pound in a week, I was still losing... I followed the plan that Lorraine and Katie gave me.
This surgery is NOT a quick fix - for your body, or your mind. Relax, follow the plan that TWH gave you. It takes time, you didn't get big over night, it isn't going to take overnight to get rid of the weight either.
I lost 100lbs in 6months. It may take you less or longer BUT it all depends on how much you follow the plan. I kept my carbs low, protein high. My calories were low at first but it takes time to build up eating a little more.
RELAX.... and Good luck
BELOW GOAL Happily maintaining 4.5 years out!! Life is GREAT!!! Had my plastic surgery!
Please - I beg you - put the scale away.
The ONLY numbers you should be paying attention to are your water, protein and walking.
This time is about healing. Not numbers.
It will happen.

I am 9 weeks post op. Best advice i received that i will pass along is STOP weighing yourself constantly. I gained 5 lbs after a couple of weeks and was driving myself crazy. Stopped with the scale, weight still coming off. I weigh on saturday mornings. Once a week. Too many fluctuations on a daily basis.
relax, eat properly and exercise and you will succeed.
