The end - or is that beginning? - is in sight!

Hi everyone,

I got my referral about 18 months ago. During the routine testing, a cyst was found on my pancreas. After a CT scan, 2 MRIs, 2 endoscopic ultrasounds, and 2 biopsies (the first of which was lost by the lab), I have finally been cleared for surgery! My consent forms have been signed, my Optifast procured, and now I'm waiting for my date. I spoke with my surgeon yesterday and he thinks that my surgical date will be sometime in March.

I cannot believe how elated I feel today. I can't concentrate on anything!

Cheers,

Sara

Glad all turned out well on your pancreas. Hopefully you will hear soon about a date.
