Good morning Barb and everyone. Had a good sleep last night ..Busy day today..

B- tea. and greek yogurt.

S- homw made protein bar.

L- mini chicken burger with green beans..

S- some mixed fruit.

 D-Same as lunch. last of the chicken burgers lol..

S- roasted chick peas or maybe a smal turkey wrap with LF cheese..

5 months post op

Went for a nice hike with the dog last night I wanted to do 2 circuits but only did 1.5 because my dog met a lost doggy and we took him back to the gate where his owner was waiting. Apparently this dog shouldn't be in the off leash park if they keep losing him.  So tonight will be 2 circuits if the weather holds up and it isn't too dark. 

Vitamins were good yesterday as was water. Meals were okay, I just have no interest in food at the moment so it is tough but I do eat so don't worry :)

B- Kashi Go Lean, Milk, banana protein powder

S- Cheese, melba

L - Soup, protein powder

S- Edamame

D- Chicken and veggies

S - protein bar if #s aren't there

Good morning everyone!! 

3.5yrs post-op, RNY, maintaining!

Today is a day of rest. I don't really plan on getting outta bed except to get stuff to eat. I had a busy day yesterday and I have another busy day tomorrow, I have to go for a follow up with DrNanda for noon. 

I am going to have a "leftover clean up day" today.

B- Special K protein cereal

L- cheese quesadilla

D- cheddar chicken

snacks- banana, popcorn, hard boiled egg/yoguart

I may change some stuff ... just too much to choose from while I am at home. 

Getting in all my vitamins and liquids

Please get out of bed to go to the bathroom. Hubby will appreciate that ;-)

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

RNY, 15 Months Post Op

I'm still trying to shed my regain from the last couple of months - it's been a pretty big battle.  I'm still exercising like I used to, but have really let the carbs get out of control.  So I'm going to get back to being fully accountable for everything, tracking each day and keeping the carbs under control!

Today I'm on my own with the kids so will get on the bike for 45 mins after they go to bed.  Then I'll run 10KM at the gym tomorrow morning.

Here's my eating plan for the day:

B - 1/2 a wheat/dairy free bagel (made with almond butter mainly - from a primal/paleo takeout place near me), 1/2 tbsp. almond butter, 1/2 cup berries

S - Protein Bar

L - Chicken and salad from the caf at work

S - Egg, Veggies and Dip

D - Turkey Roll-Ups, Asparagus

S - Armstrong Cheese String, put a Protein Shake in the plan if I need it (feeling really snacky at night lately and need to stay away from the carbs).

Totals - 1,419 calories, 70g carbs, 67g fat, 135g protein

great to see you again Karen!

Monster headache this morning - prolly a combination of caffeine crash and VERY cold walk in to work this morning (sinuses freezing)

 B - Oat bran w small banana, large coffee

 S - cottage cheese w blueberries + granola

 L - 2 turkey pepperettes, 21 g cheddar, 4 crackers, 1 pear

 S - protein bar, 2nd coffee

 D - slice of red pepper + goats cheese quiche, 1 tomato

 

OKAY - that is ENOUGH WINTER for crying out loud!
