I Survived!!!!

Hi!!
I survived!!! lol... I did not think the surgery would have made me feel so beat up, but the way I feel today, is as if I am just getting over the flu, weak, and tired. A little sore but it is bearable. The Dr prescribed Tylenol 3 for me, but I haven't taken any. So now my total weight loss since January 14th is 26 pounds. On day of surgery I was 311... Today 304. 4 more pounds and it is so long 300's. Can hardly wait.
I have to say that the nurses in Guelph General are so awesome. They had such great bed side manner, and especially Vanessa and Sheena....They made my stay so much better.
Dr Bojani is a very thorough and also has an excellent bed side manner. My heart rate was over 100 for the first day and he was quite concerned, sent me for exrays and also a a scan where I had to drink a God aweful substance but all came out ok, no leaks ect. I got his ok to go home around 6pm Thursday. I was so happy to go home. The beds are kind if uncomfortable but thats my only complaint.
So now I am enjoying my watered down cranberry jiuce and a diet jello. I am anxiously awaiting this coming wednesday when I can goo on full fluids. Never thought I would look so forward to cream of wheat..lol
So good luck to everyone who is approaching surgery soon. See you on the bench!!
Excellent news! Congrats and welcome to the bench! I'm so glad to hear everything is doing okay. (Ooooh, cranberry juice! Sounds like a plan!)
