RNY  4 Years 9 Months Post Op

Morning

Heading to Orlando for the PGA show .....I will not be posting this thread tomorrow morning.....so please post if you are up first....

Will get lots of walking the next two days.......have already packed a cooler with my lunch and a yogurt......

 

STEPS - 12,248........lifted weights for 50 minutes plus a power walk before dinner

 

EATS

B - premier protein shake

 

S - Panera bread bagel with light creme cheese

 

L - 2 ham-cheese-pickle roll ups

 

S - Greek Yogurt

 

D - 4 oz beef tenderloin

     Green salad with full fat dressing on the side

 

MYFITNESSPAL totals for the above menu are:  Calories -1,528,  Carbs - 115 grams,  Fat - 48 grams,  Protein -  102 grams

 

All water.....more decaf coffee....and vits

Barb, great steps yesterday. I thought I would have had more with walking to work from TWH but I guess it is not as far as I used to think it was. LOL So steps only 6530. It is freezing here so I will not be walking outside much. I will try to get on my bike tonight.

Tonight I am having mystery stew. I made this not long ago and froze it. I know it has quinoa in it and probably chicken but can't remember what else. So may have to change my totals after I eat it,

I saw the dietitian yesterday. She said we can have about 300 mg of caffeine so I will stick with my morning coffee. I asked about calories per day and she thought 1200 would be good. I think for slow days this would be okay but I now think if I exercise more I should probably up it a bit. I know she said this because of my age but I know I am more active than my mother was at this age and other 62 years olds I know. I was disappointed in some answers. I wanted to know how much protein was too much but was only told how much I should eat.

Good morning, well its freezing here today. I am getting tired of old man winter lol... I didnt work out last night but going tonight for sure..

B- tea, boiled egg and 1/2 slice of peamal bacon.

S- celery and carrot sticks.

L- roast chicken and peas,

S- water melon.

D- 2 turkey wraps with LF cheese and pickle slices.

S- May have to make more roasted chick peas ..

Oh man getting to work was rough this morning, it's been two hours now and I am still chilled right through. Minus 30 as I was standing waiting for the bus
You know when your sinuses got frozen and you have that headache all day from it? ... yeah, that' s me. mail

 B - bowl Cheerios, 1/2 banana, large coffee

 S - 1% cottage cheese w SF applesauce

 L  - 2 turkey bites, 21 g cheddar, 4 crackers, 1 pear

 S - 1 cheese croissant, 2nd coffee (I know I know, BAAAAAD Gaby!)

 D - homemade chicken curry blush

I even wore a pair of thermal socks along with fleece lined leggings. I am still cold. I know our friends from up north are thinking we a are wimps. For the record I agree I am a wimp and want warmer weather!

So cold - was out showing property this morning - really frosty!

Lunch –Ocean’s tuna snack 1 clementine

S- iogo greek yogurt (with Blueberries)

Dinner  -1/2 c spaghetti sauce, ½ c spaghetti squash
