I weighed in at 171.5 this morning, my goal being 170. My surgery was Feb 6th, 2013, I can't believe how far I have come in such a short time! This time last year I was facing my first weekend on opti (I did 3 weeks), wondering if I could do it, the first 3 days are rough I will not sugar coat it BUT the opti really is the test (for me anyway) I knew if I could stick to it then I could stick to the guidelines we are given post-surgery.

For those starting their journey with the referral or first appointments or Opti, enjoy the journey it won't always be easy but it will be worth it!

Referral- March 2012, Letter April 19, Orientation TWH- June 6, NP - July 3, Sleep Apena test July 16, Internist and SW - July 17, Nutritional class - July 23, Dietician appt. July 30th, Psych-Social appt - Aug 20th. Follow up with doctor sleep apena Aug. 28th Surgeons appt. - Dec. 14th Dr. Jackson. Surgery date - Feb 12 2013 - VSG
