2 cancelations and lots of frustration

Hello,

Just having a moment of venting here.... I had my surgery scheduled for Dec 20th and it was later canceled. At least it was canceled before I started Opti. It was difficult to hear of the cancelation without a new date in place of it. 

Then I was given the date of January 15. I was directed to do 19 days of Opti and then 2 days of just clear liquids. On January 13, I was called and my surgery was canceled. Are you kidding me?!?! It isn't the hospitals fault though. There was a flood that closed all of the operating rooms. At this point, only 4 of the 12 of them were open. 

I'm worried that all of the work that I did with Opti will not be recognized during the surgery. I am on a low fat diet until I hear more from the hospital. 

So...is the third time the charm??

Keep your spirits up, hopefully it will come soon.  What hospital are you going to?

Sorry to hear about the rotten luck you've been having.  Hopefully they will be up and running again soon.  hang in there.

That must be so hard. I hope they are able to give you an early date. Let us know

My co worker has his cancelled too at the moment after 19 days of Opti.....

Thanks everyone! I haven't heard anything yet, I will likely call on Monday to see if there is an update. I'm sure they are overwhelmed with questions and calls.
