If they find you have sleep apnea and need a CPAP machine, they send you for a 2nd sleep study with the CPAP about a month after getting it, just to see if its helping. We've all had to deal with the wait, and I'm counting my lucky stars that by the time I have surgery it'll be only a year since my referral. I've heard about many that have had to wait longer, and although I'm anxious, I'm still feeling great about the little time I've had to wait. Good luck!
