Meeting my Surgeon Next Week!!
I didn't expect this!! I'm meeting my surgeon, Natasha Pereira-Hong, on January 9th!
I honestly didn't think this would happen before March. Audrey told me just before Christmas that the extra funding didn't come and I would likely have surgery in April.
Maybe it's possible that I will be having it before then???? I guess I'll find out next week.
Well ... how am I supposed to concentrate at work now! :)

Congrats! The proverbial ball rolling down the hill is picking up steam! You'll be in recovery before you know it :)
I just found out about my orientation happening on the 13th about half an hour ago too - so I'm just as excited as you :)

Orientation at HRH - Jan 13, 2014. 1st Meeting with Surgeon (Dr. Klein) & blood work - Jan 30th. Sleep study - Feb 5th. RN, Dietician & Social Worker exams - Feb 25th, Internist - April 9th. Dr Klein -April 23rd,PATTs Sept 2nd, Surgery, Sept 16, 2014, Opti Starting Weight - 343LB (Aug 26th). Surgery weight 315LB CW 215 17-Aug-2015)
Congrats too! This process has definitely been full of bursts and stalls but I can finally see a dim light at the end of the tunnel :)
