102 lbs down!

Its been awhile since I have posted. I had my surgery in April so it has been just over 7 months. The past 6 weeks things have slowed down on the scale. So much so that I really hadn't weighed myself more than twice in the last 6 weeks. Today, I finally had the courage to check my weight and found that I was down 4 lbs finally!! that makes me 102 lbs down from the start of my WLS journey. WOW! I can't believe how fast the time has gone and all the NSVs I have had. I always have to remember that it only gets harder. Its funny, my mother in law asked me on the weekend "if I had lost weight?" LOL! I said yes! Funny how long it takes some people to notice. On the other hand, some people walk right by me and don't recognize me. I am very grateful to my very supportive family and also to my GP who has provided me with excellent treatment over the last 4 years. My husband, two kids and I are going to Mexico over Christmas holidays. It is the first time we have been away to a sunny destination where I have not been anxious about the flight, heat, food or activity. I am just looking forward to only good things and being with my family. Happy holidays to everyone!
