OT- Two weeks in and out of hospital, and 2 surgeries later....
So this is why I haven't responded to you'all who have emailed me etc, and why I have been absent from the forum.
On Thanksgiving Sunday I ended up in emerg with severe abdominal pain. Turns out I had a blocked kidney. Came home with pain meds, waiting for a referral. Ended up in the er again a few days later, admitted and underwent emergency surgery to unblock the kidney. Then a week later, re admitted for another 6 days and another surgery. But I think I am on the mend now...finally! So while the pain was horrendous, I did manage to lose 16lbs...lol.
Congrats to all of you (especially fellow guelphites...ie..Michelle) who got their dates! Amazing! So very happy for you!
And to my friends on the forum, thank you for your concern and support!

No, I am still pre-op...we are not sure why I got them...
But I will have to meet with my urologist/surgeon to discuss the problem, and to make sure WLS will still be an option for me.
I havent seen too many people on here having kidney issues after WLS surgery, usually its gallbladder...
