Just an update... I will be having Dr Sanjay Azad doing my plastics and I want to say that I am so excited he is upgrading me from my ohip approval of a pannectomy to a fleur des lise !!!! omg and doing the mons lift, breast reconstruction/reduction and lipo all at NO CHARGE!!! I will be having surgery November 8th in Thunder Bay. I can't believe that this doctor would give me such a generous gift I am still in shock, excited and scared all at once! He has an amazing bed side manner and I feel comfortable and confident with him. I look forward to giving you an update post op.

All that sounds amazing! Just a question ... what's the difference between the pannectomy and the fleur-de- lis?

Pannectomy is medical and fleur des lise is considered cosmetic it is an anchor cut that addresses more of the all over adominal skin issues .... if you google it you can find lots of info. Also the difference is $$$ Ohip covers Pannectomy if you qualify they never cover the other but most surgeons will allow you to "Upgrade for a fee" so they basically piggy back on the OHIP amount alloted.
