A "Lonely Hearts" Scammer on OH - Nora05
Here's an scam OH PM I just got from Nora05:
"Hello Dear my name is Nora. here is my privet e-mail' ( [email protected] ) i will like to know you more. so that i can send you my picture and my detail's for you to know me more so I am waiting for your mail to my email address below. please don't chat me here just send me mail and i will get back to you. with love. Nora( [email protected] )"
Her BMI is 80.1 and here's her photo which 'she', I mean he put up 10 hours ago.... sigh, do people really think we are that stupid and desperate? Can we do anything to get him off OH (at least with this user name). He deserves more than just blocking. This is a much used photo by proven scammers - http://www.tineye.com/search/7547bc59ef1e7845d46fbcd06fc1d8c efedc5da9/ I know I can cut and paste this email at http://www.419eater.com/html/baiting.htm and they'll waste his time and resources, but it still annoys me.
Did all the men on OH get this? I suppose I was one of the lucky few females with a gender-neutral name who got this scammer's spam.

Just ignore it. You cannot get away from it. I'm starting to get them on facebook too (check your other account and see it there).
You just can't get past the scammers.

I know it's just another male scammer trying to part you from your money who is pretending to be female, but somehow getting scam email here on OH makes me annoyed when it doesn't on Facebook or in an email account. I know you can't get away from it, but it's the principle, even though this attempt was funny since it was so amateurishly done. It just makes me think that the public view obese people as desperate, and scammers think they're easy targets for 'romance scams'. However, it goes on everywhere on the web, so I promise to stop ranting now. ;D

http://tineye.com is a rather scary website. If you upload a photo or paste a photo's URL into it, it will tell you all the websites that the photo has been previously seen on, so it's a great tool to catch scammers, cheating hubbies, etc..
The link to the tineye URL in my above post will become dead after 72 hours.
