My accomplishments are:
1) I removed the "energy vampire" that is my mother from my life last November, My son tells me I am so much happier since then.
2) I have not been this happy in my entire life. (1 and 2 kinda overlap) But I made so many life changes other than #1 that have made me so happy!
3) Took the bulls by the horns and had WLS! To me, this was all about my health (with an added side bonus of slimming down). No longer have high blood pressure and am almost off all my meds (will be by end of January hopefully) My ankle pain is no more! I don't have to ALWAYS wear my orthotics, even bought a new pair of converse chucks!
My goals for 2013 are:
1) Move to the big city of Toronto. Already started looking for work within my company there
2) To not fit into any piece of clothing I currently own. (size 14 and up) So, a NEW wardrobe! hah!
3) Maybe actually start dating? Been single for 21 years. I refused to date when my children were small and devoted my time to raising them. Now that they are 18 and 21, it is my turn. Another thing that prevented me from dating is I was not happy with who I was inside. I wouldn't dare want to be with someone if I was not even happy with my own self. recipe for disaster!
It sounds like 2013 will be the year about YOU!!
That's a good thing :)

Great post, but somehow a tough one for me. BTW, love your new avatar Dawn, you look gorgeous!
Accomplishments
1. Started walking regularly at breaks and love (d) it. Just waiting for cleaned roads to start again.
2. Being more aggressive in cutting out a toxic relationship. Not completely doable when you are related to, and work closely with that person, but getting there.
3. Not so much my accomplishment, being seeing my son graduate from university was a really important one for me (now if he'd only get a job ).
Goals:
1. Lose the 15 lb regain. Everything still fits, but not as comfortably as I would like it to.
2. Getting in better shape, maybe running, but that is probably just a dream.
3. Just keep on keeping on, life is good!
Awww..thanks for the kind words =)
That's awesome about your son graduating. It's SUCH a different job market out there. Incredibly tough :( I feel bad for young people. There are no more guarantees. I'll cross fingers for him.
Ya the running thing is a dream for me. I so want it but my body doesn't. LOL
Thanks for contributing!

Very sincere words Dawn, I have always thought that you were beautiful!
Thanks for the crossed fingers, he needs them! Smart kid, but can be shy before you get to know him - not good for interviews. I just know that he would make a great contribution to a company if they would give him a chance. Oh well, it will happen, I just hope sooner than later!
Business admin, major in Marketing, looking in Ottawa, if anyone has any jobs, lol!
Well done everyone!!
Accomplishments:
1) having the surgery and dropping over 100 lbs.~ i know ...beyond the scale but it is a huge one for me!!!
2) buying clothes in regular stores
3) I went zip lining and completed an advanced aerial course followed by an afternoon of whitewater rafting....A very physical day I NEVER would have done last year...
Goals:
1) To not join the ranks of "singledom".... It is hard work and this time I want it to work....We both do.... I applaud those that made the right choices for them..... It is difficult to do!!
2) to achieve and maintain a healthy weight.....not there yet....
3) live my life to the fullest and enjoy every day!!!
