Alrighty....so I'm bored here and need something to read...so I need you all to entertain me. LOL

Here's a question:

What are your top 3 accomplishments (beyond the scale) that you achieved in 2012?

What are your top 3 goals for 2013?

For me, my accomplishments are:

1) Kicking the users out of my life completely.

2) Keeping off the weight gain

3) Completing my fourth Detroit Half Marathon

My goals are:

1) Finally get this damn regain off

2) Complete more for 5Ks and improve my walking pace. Looking forward to the colour run this year :)

3) To feel good about me.

Looking forward to your answers :)

Dawn

Hi Dawn,

I am at work and bored as heck, so I am up for this.

For me, my accomplishments are:

1) having the courage to have the surgery and doing great with it so far.

2) having the courage to leave my husband of 18 years just two months before surgery.  If the kids and I are not his priority, then I am moving on.  I'd rather be on my own with my girls.

3) I have been trying to get out there more and socialize with friends, old and new.

My goals are:

1) To take more time for myself.

2) To start running again and complete a 5K.

3) To feel good about me. (that's a good one)

Wow, you are a brave one!  Major change for you just before surgery.  That would make a lot of people

fall apart.  You are a strong lady :)

I love physical fitness goals.  I think we have to challenge ourselves, don't we?

I left my husband 2 months AFTER surgery. Had to deal with the madness our marriage had become instead of eating. Crazy! We were together 18 years as well...two little ones too.

Surgery March 23/2011. Completed three full marathons and two half marathons, two half Ironman distances. Completed my first Full Ironman distance (4 km swim, 180 km bike, 42.2 km (full marathon) run) in Muskoka August 30/2015. Next Ironman Lake Placid July 23/2017!

 You can do it! :)

I can concur on the menopause thing. I skipped peri menopause and went into full fledged menopause this

summer.

It sucks :(
