Wow...... I am speechless. I thank you dearly for sharing your story. You should not be nervous, but extremely proud to have the courage to even have the surgery. To change your life, and realize you needed to make this change for you !!! 6 yrs of succes is what I see in you !!!

Putting the truth out can be scary.  Sometimes you don't know if your honesty is appreciated. Lol

Its a wonderful journey!   All the best in yours,

Hey Dawn, I hope that you remember when I wrote to you, not long ago to tell you that I read your entire first years blog in one evening and based on what I read you helped me make my decision to move forward with this surgery. I will be going to my first surgeons appt. I hope to be told that I am a candidate.

Thank you for the honesty and candor of your post. We all share your feeling, concerns problems and fears in one say or another. I have no delusions that this surgery is going to be a panacia but a new beginning.

After that it will be up to me and boy do I have a lot of baggage.

Your journey has been one of success and don't ever shortchange yourself in that fact. Your are one beautiful person, inside and out. Thanks for sharing.

Good to see you Debra!

I am thankful for the surgery every day.  It has been a wonderful journey in so many ways.  The joy I get so often are the words of newbies who are thinking of taking the big step of surgery.  Seeing them living life again and loving life again is why I am still here.

As always thanks agai for the  kind words!

Thank you, thank you sooooo much . You have put a light where I didn't see one and also show me that this journey is my own responsibility no matter what. I so relate about the power of food and the mind. Now I know I'm the work in progress. You have a wonderful mind, Thank you again.
