Dr. Oz Frozen treats

I couldn't sleep last night and Dr. Oz came on and they were showing how to cut calories and what they showed for a snack I made this morning. It was frozen Greek Yogurt. It's so good. What you do is put the Greek yogurt in a resealable baggy, cut the tip off then drop it by drops onto a baking sheet then freeze it. Once frozen I put them back in the cleaned out Greek yogurt container. You can add floavouring before you freeze them or use something to dunk them in if you want a little treat. I thought I would share since most of use are eating Greek Yogurt. With Summer coming it will be a nice cool treat. A good healthy replacement to ice cream and high in protein.

Enjoy,
Heidi

Sounds good. I suppose one could make a freezer pop thing also.

Hi Nathalie,
If you can handle cinnamon I made mine with splenda and cinnamon and they are so good.

What a great idea! I'm going to try that, thanks Heidi. I'm going to make them with sf syrups - cinnamon, white chocolate, and vanilla. How big are the drops?

Hi karen,
Wow the syrups sound good. You can make the drops whatever size you want. Dr Oz was even making shapes with it.

Have a great weekend and enjoy

I'm thinking of using an ice cube tray, actually. The syrups are really good - I'm dying to try cinammon "ice cream"!
