Time frame between Surgeon Appointment & Surgery??

I have my Surgeon Appointment June 22 with Dr. Aarts (she's from TEH) what is a rough length until the surgery?
I know I get the Surgery date at the appointment but I was just curious what is the estimated length of time between the two.

Hello Heidi....I had my appointment with Dr Aarts on Apr.25th and at that time, I was given my surgery date for June 6th. There were other patients who got earlier appointments than mine....1 lady got May 16th!! She has scheduled me for an additional pre-op test (Gastroscopy) and that may have been why I was delayed somewhat. Although, my appointment was for 4pm and there were approx 5+ others ahead of me so.....perhaps the "earlier " appointments got earlier dates???? What time is your "appointment"???

Hi Aca, thank you so much for the information. My appointment is at 11am. I have to meet with Mary at 10 to go over the instructions for useing Diabetic Boost and Beneprotien because I'm allergic to opti.
I'm hoping I don't have to do any further testing because I have had a lot done on my own prior to this.
What was the reason for the Gastroscopy if you don't mind me asking? Because I take pills for my stomache but it's a low dose.
My fingers are crossed that you're right that the earlier appointments get the earlier date.
