 Thanks Uschi

That helps a lot. Yep, one appointment let to go. WOO HOOO.

How excited about your surgery this week?? I would be climbing the walls. When are you leaving for Toronto?

Remember to keep me posted.

My friend had to do Glucerna as she was allergic to Optifast.  They didn't have her add anything but if they want you to up the protein to close to Opti then you'd need one scoop per shake of Beneprotein.  Each container has 32 servings so depending on how many weeks you have to do, you will need just shy of one container per week as you will be consuming 28 shakes per week.

 Thanks Karen,

My hubby was wondering about me using Glucema instead of Boost Diabetic. I'm going to email Mary when she gets back from vacation.I really appreciate the information.

Thanks,
Heidi

They think it's the aspartame but we are unsure. When I tried it at the Nut Class my throat closed in. Thank goodness I always carry my allergy things with me. It was funny when I met with the dietian on Friday and she asked me what foods I was allergic too I almost asked if she would rather have what I'm not allregic too. LOL

add sugar free things to them like syrups, crystal light... put them in a blender with ice and other flavourings maybe. I'm pre surgery and that's what I do now. I'm hoping it will owrk after surgery as well

I have an aspartame allergy.  And the Guelph bariatric centre, told me i could use Carnation instant breakfast or the high protien boost.
