Congats on getting the big day booked. Don't worry to much about the Opti, I am not going to tell you it is great, but it is definately tolerable. Just focus on the fact that every shake means your closer to your big day!

Yay!  Congratulations on your surgery date.  Feb 9 is a great day to have surgery!!  (I'm a little bias on this date as it is my youngest daughters bday!!)   Happy dance time for you!!!!

Based on what I am reading on OH, the earlier frustrations with the Registry seem to be subsiding.

I think they hadn't quite worked out the wrinkles initially, and then weren't prepared for the sheer number of clients.
As you pointed out this has little or nothing to do with either the individual clinic's efficiency/time management, nor the individual surgeon's manner and surgical skills.

I think I can safely speak for everyone who posts on OH and has had the surgery, that most of us regret not having done it sooner  - we could have saved ourselves a lot of heartache and in most cases, medical complications beforehand.

Congratulations on getting to the starting line, anyway!

So happy you have FINALLY gotten your surgery date....as I approach my 3 month post-surgery date I can assure you it is the best thing I have EVER done for myself...
