Heidi, I had my surgery on a Thursday, released from hospital Saturday morning and took an early flight home to the Sault on Sunday. Everyone is right there is nothing like home to recover in. You have your own bed, your own fridge with all the goodies you need and your own space to walk around in. I flew Porter and since the flight is only 1 hour 15 minutes it was no big deal at all and I had no issues with the flight at all.

Hi, the hospital didn't require you to stay in the area for a wile once you were released? When did you go to get checked after your surgery? Did you have to have stapples or anything removed?
Sorry for all the questions. Anything you could supple to me about your follow up care would be very helpful.

I had asked about the week after appt and the surgeon said no don't worry about it. Seen St. Mike's dietician day after surgery and got hints, when released on Sat two days after surgery they had said to stay in town until Monday and that was all the instructions I got personally.
