Lesson Learned

No problem Hun. I am generally pretty basic when it comes to supplementation and usually have a wait and see approach when it comes to bloodwork as I don't want to pay for a zillion vitamins I'll just pee out if my body doesn't need them.

Bloodwork results always guide me to my supplementation.

I hope you can get your numbers up fast, Dawn!  This is a good reminder to be diligent with labs and supplements!

Congrats on al the walking, and good to know there was a reason for your laziness.

Darn that iron. Ooh are you going to have to do battle with the constipation monster.

I take a iron supplement every morning and there is some in my multi vitamin too. Always been on the low side  but the supplements help. So once you get regular again, it'll be easy to keep it up. glad you went and got checked.

Congrats Dawn on your walking!!!!!

It is deceiving when it comes to blood work and levels.  At the beginning I was on iron and then told to stop taking them as my levels were excellent.

The next blood work showed my level had dropped so was put back on it again.

I have now been told that I will most likely need to take iron supplements for the rest of my life but the amount could change from time to time depending on my blood work.
